Zaferia Business Association Board of Directors

The ZBA Board of Directors is made up of seven members, each serving a two-year term.  The Board meets most months of the year on the second Thursday of the month. 

The next meeting of the Board will be held:

Oct. 10, 2019, 9 am, at the Long Beach Playhouse, 5021 E. Anaheim St., Long Beach, CA 90804.  The Agenda will be posted HERE no less than 72 hours in advance of the meeting.

The Annual Meeting of the ZBA will be held on Oct. 22, 7:45 – 9 am, at The Red Leprechaun, 4000 E. Anaheim St., Long Beach, CA 90804.

Tracy Ames
The Red Leprechaun Restaurant was founded in July 2012 by Tracy Ames. We are an "Irish-American restaurant" located in the heart of the East Anaheim Business District and have been recognized as one of the top ten Irish-American restaurants in Long Beach and in the Press Telegram. Vice President
Madison is the Executive Director of the Long Beach Playhouse. She moved to Long Beach to attend CSULB and study theatre. After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre Arts, she worked on numerous productions and projects with the Long Beach Playhouse before being hired full time as Business & Operations Manager in 2012. Madison recently graduated from the Leadership Long Beach Institute where she increased her motivation to make Long Beach a better place!

Scott Bristol
Scott Bristol is the Controller for Brascia Builders, a General Contracting Firm headquartered in Long Beach specializing in Healthcare, Hospitality & Institutional Construction. Scott graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a major in Accounting. A Long Beach resident, he enjoys the small town feel of this large and diverse city.
Kourosh Davatolhagh
Kourosh Davatolhagh is the Relationship Manager and Vice President at Farmers & Merchants Bank’s East Long Beach Office. As a Relationship Manager, he is responsible for providing banking and lending solutions to the local community. Kourosh specializes in Business and Commercial Real Estate loans. Prior to joining F&M Bank, Kourosh graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University of Long Beach (CSULB) where he was honored as one of three outstanding graduating seniors in the college’s Finance Department. After graduating from CSULB, Kourosh was drawn to F&M due to the Bank’s core values of honesty, integrity, faith, family and service above self. Kourosh’s professional career at F&M Bank began in 2010 as a Teller/Client Service Specialist and he has since grown into managing the Bank’s second oldest office. Over the past six years, Kourosh’s success has been tied to listening, understanding, and developing financial solutions for the people and businesses within his community.

Cameron Crockett
Cameron is an architect who is principal of the firm “Ultra-Unit Architectural Studio” here in Long Beach. UUAS specializes in residential, commercial remodels and adaptive reuses as well as restaurants and multifamily housing types of projects. For any of the projects the firm agrees to participate in the goal is always the same….to make Long Beach a little bit better one building at a time. The firm prides itself on excellence and has received three American Institute of Architects awards. Cameron has a BArch degree from SCi-Arc, has previously instructed architecture at Woodbury University, Orange Coast Community College and has instructed in related courses at CSULB and Otis. Cameron is also a previous board member of the local chapter of American Institute of Architects - Long Beach/South Bay and a prolific maker.

Alan Gomez

Alan Gomez is the owner/operator of Commodity. Commodity opened in 2017 as a result of Alan & his wife moving back to California from Oregon and him not wanting to rework resumes, instead he decided to start his own business. Coming from nearly a decade in the beer industry as well as the coffee industry, Commodity specializes in everything coffee & beer.

Kristine Hammond
Executive Director

Kristine has been with Zaferia Business Association since 2015. She came to the Executive Director position by way of her experience working for The American Institute of Architects – Long Beach/South Bay Chapter. Kristine holds an MBA from Pepperdine University (2002), a Certificate in Legal Assistantship from University of California, Irvine (1995), and a BA in journalism with an emphasis in advertising from San Diego State University (1990). She lives in Long Beach with her husband Ric and their two teenage children.
